The RefugeOshawa, Ontario. We take a two tier approach to working with high risk youth - through prevention and intervention. Preventative by working in the local schools through after school programs and teaching youth homelessness issues in order to stem the flow of youth leaving home. Intervention through the 2nd Chance Youth Centre, serving breakfast and lunch five days a week, along with helping the youth make connections to the local agencies that can enable them to improve their lives.
